About Us/ History

Staging Dimensions began manufacturing permanent and portable staging and accessories in Newport News, Virginia in 2001. As a sister company to Applied Electronics, Staging Dimensions was created as a convenient means to offer their customers quality, versatile portable staging products to package with their roof systems. The business quickly grew and relocated to New Castle, Delaware, in 2003. In 2013, Staging Dimensions outgrew their space and moved into a new facility 4 times the size of their first facility in Delaware.

Currently, Staging Dimensions is finding its niche in the custom market while maintaining its strong presence in the standard portable staging arena. Our in-house capabilities allow us a quick turnaround time and enable us to provide superior attention to our customers’ every need. Field measurements and professional installations are conducted by our experienced team of fabricators.

Our scenic division has taken off and projects have included: The Tower, Take Off and Landing Ramp for Hot Wheels, The Double Dare Loop for Hot Wheels, Custom Scenic staging pieces for The Papal Visit to Philadelphia & Washington, DC, Camp Izzie Beverage Launch, Dual-Hydraulic Mechatronic Structure for the Wings Lacrosse Team and a Hydraulic Performance Stage for The Starboard.

A strong in-house sales department and knowledgeable regional sales associates across the country allows Staging Dimensions to effortlessly guide customers through the design, purchase and installation process.

A look to the future finds Staging Dimensions continuing to refine standard products to adhere to new building codes and looking forward to the challenges of custom portable staging and scenic projects.
